Raila begs voters not to shame him in the forthcoming Siaya gubernatorial elections

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga over the weekend led a powerful CORD delegation to Campaign for Cornel Rasanga Amoth. The CORD leader addressed his supporters in several shopping centers all over the County with major rallies in Ugunja, Usenge and Siaya Town.
“I want those people to know that Siaya is still my stronghold. Recently, I took Rasanga to Dallas USA where he was trained on how to manage a county. Please vote him in for me as he has connections to bring investors to Siaya. In addition, I may be sworn into office incase those people are jailed (referring to ongoing ICC Trials at The Hague) Do you agree?” Raila told his supporters in Yimbo Usenge
Cornel Rasanga lost his seat after the high court in Kisumu nullified his elections citing massive irregularities. The by-elections will be held on 17/10/2013 where he faces a stiff competition from Financial Specialist William Oduol Denge.
